About
Our Space
Upon arriving for your first appointment, you may wonder if you are in the right place because of the unique and homey feel of our office location. We are located in a private country setting that is easily accessible for anyone in the quiet corner of CT. With our own private building and parking lot, we offer clients the luxury of privacy while they are working with us.
Once inside our space, you will find yourself in our waiting room in which we worked hard to create a peaceful and comfortable place for you to wait. But before you sit down in one of our hand painted chairs, please go help yourself to a beverage and snack, right down the hallway at our custom made coffee bar. If you find the fresh air and sunshine appealing, feel free to enjoy your beverage and snack outside on our front porch, your therapist is happy to come find you outside when it's time for your session. We value the importance of creating a peaceful and healing space for you while you are here.
**We are also handicap accessible and offer a unisex bathroom**
Clinical
Supervision

Clinical supervision is an integral part of the process of therapists with the belief that we should continue to learn, challenge, and support one another in the field of helping others. Supervision can help therapists increase their skills, confidence, and self-esteem, as well as collaborate and problem solve in regards to cases that we can get stuck on. At Positive Mind Counseling, LLC, we are able to provide clinical supervision that encourages both professional and personal growth, decreases compassion fatigue, and promotes positive self-care.
